Jason’s pursuit for a vocation in voice began with his studies in broadcast journalism at the University of Memphis and radio announcing at Columbia School of Broadcasting in Memphis, Tennessee. Following stints as a fashion model and in sales, Jason combined a year profession in information technology, where he earned several computer and networking certifications, with a radio on both sides of the microphone.
At Entercom Communications Corp., Tommy Davis hired him as the assistant promotions director for WRVR 104.5 The River and WMBZ 94.1 The Buzz. He was also the on-air personality ‘Jason London’ and promotions director at Flinn Broadcasting’s WMPS 96.1 The Phantom. He also served as a radio reader for The Library Channel in Memphis. Jason has studied with Bill Bannister, Bobbi Spencer, John Burr, and Susan Sankin of New York Speech Improvement. During a recent visit to New York, he immersed himself in the art with his mentors, Joan Baker, author of “Secrets of Voice-Over Success,” and Emmy-winning producer Rudy Gaskins, before recording his demo at Gramercy Post.
Jason lives in the “Sunshine City” of St. Petersburg, Florida.
